HELP!!! IS IT A HEN OR A ROOSTER

Hi!
I need help, I dont know if my barred rock is a hen or rooster. The breeder told me she was a hen so Im wondering why she's so agressive and some mornings makes crazy noises.

x2 The comb and wattles are big and red. The feathers have more white in them than you'd see in BR pullets, which usually look much darker.

x3 From what I have learned about the breed, if you have more white than black in the feathers it's a Roo.

I have a 1 year old barred rock that looks exactly like that and she's a hen. She doesn't make any crazy noises though.

Well, how old is the OP's bird? I just assumed it was pre-egg-laying age, or there would be no question.

The chicken is about 14 weeks old. The problem is, she's my favorite one and I really dont want to have to give it back to the breeder. She/he is really smart and we've bonded. LOL
I guess I'm just going to hold out and see what happen. Keep you all posted if we get lucky and it starts laying eggs. Fingers crossed But I'm new at this and by your posts its not looking to good.

At 14 weeks that is a boy for sure. Mine is the same age and has NO comb or waddles.
