HELP!!! Is my chick ok?

Chick just hatched and looked healthy during the hatching period but came out with some yellow goop. I’m not sure if it has yolk sac infection or not and have no clue what to do to help.

Sorry this is my first time hatching eggs. How can I tell if the navel is closed up. I’m not sure it is, there is a cord hanging out, is this normal.

The yellow goop looks like normal waste left in the shell. Sometimes the navel doesnt fully close and will look a bit red. The cord might even keep it stuck to the shell for a while. So long as there's not yellow attached to or coming out of it's stomach it should be fine.

It's normal, that's just what I would call 'hatching gunk'
