Help! I have so far hatched 7 silkie eggs from my new incubator. I now have one that is 25 days old and hasn't hatched? Should I throw it out or give it more time? I have heard that they will explode and make a big mess.

If it doesn't emit an odor it shouldn't explode.

Candle it and see what's going on. If you can't see or hear movement pip the air cell end and look for signs of life.

Going this long it may have stopped along the way.

I agree with Prissy. It has most likely died in ova.
This happens - they dont all make it.

I gather this may be a first time for you and so it is hard to accept. But it is four days past due. I doubt it will do anything and it may be time to pull the plug.

The inspection Prissy recommends is a good learning lesson, though. Go ahead and have a look if you are up to it.
