Any bird can be an exhibition bird. Check her for mites (bugs) and dust her if she has them. She has a 5-point comb which is ideal for her breed. Now for her to be a show bird, she needs to cleaned up, cage trained, easily handled without fidgeting and a good owner/handler. This means you need to know your stuff before you show, her winning depends on you!
at the bottom there are a couple links that will help you show well. Check them out and good luck at the show. Remember whatever chicken you show is cared for by you so pick your best bird that represents you as a care taker.
I got her from a feed store but I would like to show chicken two of her points are not evenly separated but I will train her and fix her up and try my chances but she is very skidish thank you for your help
For showing it is advisable to find a breeder to get birds from. She has features that are very prominent of a hatchery bird that judges will notice. I again recommend finding a breeder.
The color is very light red, where the show birds are a deep dark mahogany. The tail on a show bird comes just above horizontal to set it apart from a back that is flat and long. the tail of your bird is held quite high and is coming off the back which is slanted downward it appears. This is all from the photos provided, but if you do show her the judge can tell you a lot more.
For comparison, this is only a bantam but gives a better vision for you. There are plenty of pictures of show Rhode Island Reds online, this one of some that I got rid of.
