Help! Is My Turkey a Tom or Hen?

It has traits of both! I don't see spurs. Its head turns red and puffs up when it hears a Turkey call. It has feathers on it's head and doesn't gobble. It's about 7 to 8 months old.

Pesonally, I've never had males with spurs.

Also, I found a bigger speckled egg with my chicken eggs. I only have 4 hens. They all lay brown eggs. This was the first large and speckled egg I've found.

I don't know much about turkeys, but if I remember right the males get snoods from a young age. I don't see a snood on yours. I'd guess female!

She is at a mature age "egg laying". The females flush red, some will even strut.
