Hi guys, I posted in illnesses and emergencies but I’m not hearing very much back. Today my husband picked up our mallard because she had feathers stuck on her nose. He noticed discoloring and some blood. He’s worried she might have some kind of an infection, he did see her poop and it was runny like diarrhea but beside that she is showing no other symptoms that we saw. She ate some tomatoes in front of us and was drinking water. We put some ACV in their waters and used some Vet RX on her. Does anyone know what’s wrong with her? My husband says she’s going to die and I’m really hoping he’s being dramatic. We love her dearly and don’t want to lose her.

Update: We have decided to bring her into the garage. Not quite as warm as the house but we put a heater out there. And we have her in a dog crate with fresh water with ACV in it. We’ll give her food tomorrow a monitor. Luckily I’m off work tomorrow but Tuesday I’ll be back to work so montioring her will be harder. I’ll give the vet a call tomorrow as well. I haven’t heard anyone say that they know she’s sick, more people have brought up a injury than sickness and hopefully it is just an injury and not infection or sickness.

Go easy on the ACV, It's not the most pleasant-tasting thing to drink when you're sick.
