Is the red chick a rooster or a chick?! also the chick is developing green feathers on the neck the tail looks like it's turning black or green they are 3 months old,the breed of the chick is rode island with something else or just pure breds I don't know

Rooster but i dont think it is a pure RIR. Kind of short legs and body is to long.

I think it is a Production Red, not a RIR. I agree that it is likely a roo.
