Help! Is there anyone in mid-TN who could incubate duck eggs for me?

Thanks so much to all the wonderful BYCers -- especially to WVduckchick and MagpieDucks, who were instrumental in helping to connect me with people, and to Fields Mountain Farm, who was the first to make an offer through PM.

Thanks to everyone's efforts, I've been able to make arrangements with a member who lives about an hour from me, someone who has already hatched a couple of clutches of duck eggs this spring and who has several incubators running. I won't reveal her name since she hasn't posted publicly on this thread, just in case she prefers to stay out of the limelight, but I'm very grateful to her -- as well as to the other lovely folks who made offers here and through PM. Y'all are a great bunch of people! :love:highfive::yesss::hugs

The eggs were supposed to get here yesterday, but now USPS tells me they'll be delivered today. So now I get to obsess over whether they're going to show up. :barnie Then they'll be off to their foster momma for a few weeks!

I guess I never did mention -- these will be Ancona ducklings, my favorite breed. I'll post pics once they bust out into the world!

:thumbsup

:ya Such a helpful community. I love it!
