Help is this a boy or a girl I am stumped

Why do you say it should’ve been male? Looks like a pullet. How old and what is it supposed to be?

It’s a crested cream legbar and it’s not mixed but it was not chipmunk striped nor does it look like any of the other girls I have hatched.

Not all Legbars are properly autosexing at hatch, so if it was sexed by its down color, that’s probably why.

I think Odd is right, an opal, not a cream. My golden Crele is a couple shades darker than the creams, and your little one is even lighter.

It is either mixed or a different leg bar color. It is not a Cream Legbar, but my guess was an Opal legbar?

Looks like a pullet to me, but I know how you feel when your expecting a rooster and you get a hen, although it's face looks kind of boy-ish!

no I have silkies but they aren’t in that pen or near the area. I’ll post pictures of the parents. Hmm strange. I have a picture of the siblings that hatched with it and they are definite boys and a definite girl. This one was just an odd ball out. Here’s the siblings: the dad is the big rooster

Well, either way, unless a mystery rooster is the culprit and introduced some weird extra genetics in there, based on the pattern this one is female. She just looks ... diluted.
