HELP IS THIS THE END BC OF HEAT?!

My rooster seems to of gotten too hot today. He will try to stand but then he gets tired quick and lays down leaning to the right. His eyes are dilated and I have him in front of a fan. Any tips? He’s one of my favorite bc he was formed oddly in the egg causing him to hatch with sprattle-legs.

Poor guy. Are his feet warm to the touch? Can you get him cooled in an air conditioned area or basement? Maybe fill the bottom of the tub with some cool to temperate water (not cold) and place his feet and lower half in there to bring his temp down.

Try giving him drops of sugar water. @Eggcessive suggested ½ tsp sugar, a pinch of baking soda and a pinch of salt to 1 c water. Dip his beak in it. If he won't drink, use your fingertip to place a drop at the crease of his beak where the upper and lower beaks join. Be careful not to get any in his nostrils. Continue till he shakes his head or refuses to swallow. A dehydrated chicken cannot eat. Once he will drink see if he will eat some of his regular food if you wet it down so it is like oatmeal or gruel.
