Help large rotten wound on side of chicken! Need help!

Make sure that she is separated with food and water so the others won’t peck and injure the wound. A wire dog crate can be placed near the others in the coop or run. Make sure the wound is kept free of flies so that maggots don’t infest the wound.

I have several extra coops, so I’ll keep her in one of those, also I am going camping this weekend, so I plan to take her with me to keep an eye on her. I can easily fit a coop on my trailer.(have her in the car while driving), I definitely know to keep flies out of the wound, one of my rabbits had bot fly 3 years ago. That was definitely a learning experience
