Help. Leg bending outward.

Hello, sorry to hear about your chick. I'm too late and not sure this would work for any chicken, but we had baby parakeets and two had splayed legs, so I paper-taped their feet (2 toes each to front and back) to a small piece of cereal box/cardboard and let them rest against a sock-wrapped toilet paper roll; changed it when necessary, and in the long run, it worked and their legs got stronger. Maybe someone could modify this to work for a chick. The two parakeets graduated to the funny boots I made, that had a piece of yarn connecting the boots, but they could finally "walk" until we took them off. Lots of fun and laughter, how funny they looked. Hope this may be helpful!
