Help! Lethargic chick with some diarrhea.

I have some, was going to give to my other girls. It's 20% soluble powder. How much per gallon of water, I will have to make some up and dispense. Can anyone advise?

Do you think it's okay to give her both? The vet seemed to think the albon was better than corid... :-/

No, do not give both. Was this an avian vet? If not possible he/she was not aware of the differences between Corid and Sulmet. It is a fact that Corid(amprolium) kills 9 strains of Cocci, where Sulmet only kills 2. If she does not show any improvement i would switch meds. With Corid improvement is noticed within 24 hours. If you feel more comfortable, contact vet and ask him/her about this.

Yes, he sees lots of chickens. They seemed to think that corid is more preventative and the albon for more serious symptoms. If she's not better in the am, I will call him back. I have been giving her electrolytes (no vitamins) hoping she turns a corner.

And thank you, 10 chicks for clarifying on the powder and dosage. I'm still a total newbie, and am so grateful for your advice.

Vet is starting her on an additional antibiotic, he thinks she has something secondary going on, she can stand today, but has barely opened her eyes. I had to syringe feed her food and water.

Well, sadly our little girl was too sick and passed away Sunday morning. Thank you for all the advice.
