Yes we have a heatlamp. And none of them had pasty butt.

Mine were from a local store- still thats very annoying & sad.

Our 2 new chicks are super healthy- they ran as far away from the hand as they could. They also tried jumping out of the box. They both had very slight pasty but that i got off with a wet paper towel- the heat source at the feed store was too strong.
