So at 1:45 I hung a fly trap. This is where I put it in relation to the run and coop.

This is 4:30....

I make my own fly traps with empty jars, I put syrup, hot dogs, and sardines in it with holes big enough for the flies to get in. Worked wonders

I’ve read about reusing the jar kind by dumping it out and refilling to the line with new water and adding some raw hamburger meat. I tried it once last year, by dumping the primordial goop into a big ziplock bag and zipping it shut quickly.
I have to tell you though I almost vomited on myself.
NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN. EVER!

Lol I just throw the whole jar away n start fresh once every like 3 days

I originally tried one that was the bait and a top you put in a milk jug.
Didn't catch a single fly. Pretty sure it' the same stuff as in the bags but they seembto like the bag better.
