Help mallard eggs pipped 3 days ago not zipped

I had this same thing happen when hatching wild mallards and on the 30th night I went to bed got up the next morning . To my surprise they were all hatched except for three . That's not bad I had set 30 . The two were dead in the shell and one quit developing half way . Wish you luck ! Mark

Have 7 mallard duck eggs in incubator on lockdown all pipped 3 days ago but still no external. Should I candle to see if all is well or leave alone?

Day 32 still nothing going to prepare to assist after candling

Ok so 4th pip but at wrong end and still hasn't broke through membrane what to do, how long should I wait to assist?

The amount of force it takes to break the shell should also break the membrane. Even though it's not always visible. Leave it alone. It should be fine.

I was so excited to read that they've pipped! You're doing a great job letting them do their thing. You'll be rewarded shortly with adorable little ducklings.

4 out of 7 survied. 1 died before hatched, pipped a wrong end and died shortly after hatching.
