Help me decide!

Why don't you just order pullets if that's what you want? Most hatcheries charge a bit more for sexed birds than for straight run but IMO it's worth it not to have to deal with unwanted males.

Oop, sorry, my bad. You are ordering EGGS, not chicks. I'm not well tonight, fuzzy brained. Ignore me.
😂

I'd not spend too much money on eggs for your first time hatching. Make sure you have a Govee or 3 or something similar before you buy eggs.
Run your bator a good week before you set eggs too and keep a close eye on what the temperature does in multiple spots in the bator.

So you’re saying I should pare down my list 😅

Is it a bit tricky to figure out? Like more likely that I could lose some birds being a newbie?

This is why I’m reaching out so early, I do want to prepare myself so I can do the best job possible. I appreciate all your help and advice.

Just looked at this govee, what exactly is it? Do the incubators themselves not have a temperature/humidity sensor?

Well that's interesting, I was not aware of such technology. Ilove, the keeks gives good advice, she's very experienced and knowledgeable. She will not steer you wrong. There are some here who consider her a bit of a goddess. 😉
