Could be worse than an energizer bunny.

This is Fleur. She is pretty determined to get in my lap, even if she has to peck a cat, or two, to do so.

It's not that she loves me, or even enjoys my lap. It's because she thinks my coffee might be delicious.

She's so pretty. Coffee is delicious!

I've decided that I definitely have 2 females in my Easter chick bunch. One of each color.

Thank you Mad. She is a sweet, beautiful, and very tall hen. If she were human she'd be modeling for Victoria's Secret plus size. (Is that a thing?)

Ruby has had alergies lately. We are having to use eye drops twice a day & wash her eye area frequently. Today she is very weapy. She is also sitting up on her haunches, so I gave her a doggy aspirin for hip pain.

Our garden is producing well and looking very green. I can't wait for the tomatoes and peppers!

These are the only two girls from my (Queenie's hatch) easter chicks

For a while I was unsure of Nyx
But here you can see that the cockerels' combs are much redder & they are larger than the pullets. The dark boys still aren't feathered out completely.

Billy Jean's four babies are much friendlier. They are
So far, I'm certain one is a cockerel. They are 14 & 16 days old. The little white one is an angel!

(Queenie is just as friendly as Billy, but she was more protective of her chicks around me.)

Certain this one is a male. He is very colorful. Below you can see him compared to the sister.

Lucy is mostly blind so I guess she thinks Franco is another hen. She keeps trying to dust bathe with him.
