Help me dog people! Dog psychologist needed!

Pics
Sookie, my 13 yo granddog. Sookie is my youngest son's hiking buddy.
She is recovering from surgery. She had a cancerous tumor removed Monday.

Her sister, Phoebe, who had knee surgery in September.

Brothers, Franklin (on the chair arm) and Stinker the Cat. Frank has skin issues and requires a special diet. Stink Cat is the only one without issues.
I'll never get grandchildren from Jake and Erin, because their pets are so expensive. 🤣
Sookie has the sweetest face! In this picture she looks a little subdued though. Is it the collar or is she on painkillers?

Phoebe has a more majestic look and poise, looking so cool lounging on her armchair with her sidekicks all around.

Sookie is generally very active. That picture was right after they brought her home. I imagine the pain killers are slowing her down. I believe that's the first time she has had a no scratch collar since she was spayed.
Phoebe is definitely all that. 🤣
I have trouble thinking of her as majestic though. If food is left out, she will scarf until she vomits. She is part whippet and manages to keep her svelte figure.
POW is picture of (the) week. You can find the current POW on the home page. Your photos are so colorful, I can't believe you haven't posted any to the pow!
