Ouch. Boo was sitting in my lap and Kitty Boy decided to join her. Somehow I got scratched in the process. Not a bad scratch but it does sting. Thank goodness for soap & water, and TAO!

One of my kittens (spooky) thinks she's part panther and used my shoulder as a jumping point yesterday. I also have a scratch that I was rather well aware of in the shower this morning. Lol

Tao- triple antibiotic ointment.

When Junapurr is in my lap, she uses me as a springboard and generally manages to stick a claw in, on her way up.

My bedroom is in the basement of our house. My sweet Gracie is becoming less able or willing to navigate the stairs. I think she can't see well. We have to encourage her and sometimes go to the bottom and come up beside her. I dread the day she just can't do it. I can't carry her up ....

Maybe just sleep downstairs on the couch for some time with her by your side? They so appreciate not being left alone downstairs at night when their eyesight and general health is failing.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood. Our bedroom is downstairs. She always sleeps beside me! The problem is getting her UP the stairs, both in the morning and also throughout the day when she goes down there by herself because it's cool. But thank you for your comment.
