Any guesses on heihei?
He has the same comb as silkie daddy and the head poof. Trying to figure out what his mama could be?
Dad was pure white silkie.
I thought maybe Rhode island?

I think his mama is Rhode island red.
It wasn't my flock he came from some lady selling silkie mixes. But I do know dad was for sure white silkie

Hard to know for sure what his mom was. Thats because white silkies could be recessive white and could be hiding other colors underneath the white, including partridge. Most recessive white silkies hide partridge underneath. These plumage colors may show up in the offspring.

It's a breed with white skin assuming the father had the proper dark skin

Ya know now that I think of it he may not be silkie dad since he's not black skinned.

I don't know exactly what she had in her flock but welsummer could most definitely be the winner. Where does the head fluff come from though?
