Well, we have too many roosters and not enough hens, Soooo, we went to a flea market in Amory and bought 2 pullets. I know, I have them away from the flock, and looked them over really well before I bought them. I got the most active, friendliest girls that I could find. They don't preen or scratch at themselves and seem healthy without being heavy.
Anyhoho, they need names. One is a snow white silke and she is a doll.
The other is a top hat. Dude said she was chocolate when she was little, but said that white has come in also. and she looks brown and white polka dotted. Big dots! She also is missing feathers on the very top of her head from a overactive roo. I got some purple stuff and put on her, and so far no one is bothering her. Very timid girl.

I love Dolly. but I am leaning towards a cow name for the top hat since she has big brown and white spots. Flossie maybe?
