Yup! Its called a sex link. I think its a barred hen to a non barred rooster. Male chicks will have a bot on their heads showing barring, and hens wont. Very interesting.

I've heard of sex linking but didnt know that's how they are bred, if I had a solid rooster I would try it out.

Aww, I had a couple girls that looked like her as babies. One was named Jasmine (Jazzy for short), and the other was named Jewel (a character from Rio, the movie).

I like the names Aquila, Zelmira, and Twilla, but out of the names in the poll, I would *probably* say Astrid. I just already have an Astrid, so I don’t like it as much for other chickens.
