Help me navigate- 4 broodies

Help! I have 4 broodies and 1 crate. I have one in there currently and I guess I'll just rotate them through. My question is for nighttime.... should I kick out the broody girls and block the nesting boxes? Hoping they'll go to roost?

All day today, I kept the broodys out in the run and let the other girls in and out of the coop so they could lay.

I don't suppose the crate is big enough to house more than one bird? If it is you could do 2 and 2, perhaps?

Sounds like it's time to buy some 1x1/2 inch wire, j clips, and a set of j clip crimpers. A 50 foot roll will make 2 nice cages for broody birds. Last time I done it I was all in for $50 and still have j clips left over. Don't get the cheap stamped steel crimpers. Might have to buy some wire cutters if you don't have any, I already did.
Either sit it on something so the air can get under them to break 'em or give the girls some eggs and let nature happen.
