Help me pick 4 breeds!

I'd really suggest:
Exchequer Leghorns -Do good in heat, tolerate confinement well, calm and puppy-like (in my experience)
Silver Leghorns - (see above)
Delaware - Hardy birds, tolerates confinement but does better free range, calm but not especially friendly.
Ameraucana/EE -Heat hardy, tolerates confinement well, friendly.

My GLW does great in hot humid weather. She's not cuddly, but she likes to hang out on the chair next to me in the evenings, which is nice. Happy chicken math!

That sounds very nice! I just don’t want any to run from us. I like the idea of hanging out with them!
