that is great...I think it is good for kids to know where their food comes from and what you have to do before you can eat it.

i agree. To many kids have no clue these days. God forbid some kind of desaster happend they would have no clue. I am i. The middle of the city right now(yelch!) And started 6 blueberry bushes last year lol! I have tomatoe plants on my porch and 20 strW berry plants in the back yard.

i currently have new hampshire red chicks who are 14 weeks old, so im sorry i dont know how many eggs they produce because they have to be 21 weeks old. but they are really cute. i got mine at agway, and they get a long well with each other.
