HELP ME, PLEASE! EMERGENCY

Did (does) the eye have an icky, sort of nasty-cheese smell? I don't know how else to describe it... it is not the normal smell of sepsis... very distinctive, and stays in my nose long after I leave the coop. At any rate, the eye picture you posted looks like mycoplasmosis to me. I had a string of birds, both chicken and turkey, that had it, last year. Yes, the puss must come out, or the infection does not go away.

I have found that Tylan powder in the water, and, if possiblr, Tylosin eye drops, is most effective. I have had, on occassion, to make an incision in the lid of the eye to remove puss that would not come out. I posted photos and details here at the time.

there were many peaces of puss but no smell at all or very little mucus smell (like when we catch cold). any idea what infection that is?

did a vet diagnose your birds? sounds like coryza and not mycoplasma. maybe puss with no smell is mycoplasma. is there anyone who can confirm?
