pictures definitely recommended. Also lock down for your babies. Sometimes chicks hatch a day late due to many circumstances.

I wouldn’t handle the egg, hopefully the chick finishes absorbing the yolk. The best thing is lock down and hopefully the baby finishes developing and hatches at anytime. Make sure your humidity is right , so that shrink wrap doesn’t happen. But would recommend to keep the incubator closed.
