Help me prove my DH WRONG

I sell mine for $1.75 and no one complaines about the price! They are happy to pay that, and there are at least two other people selling them in town where I sell miine. Town of maybe 300 people, but I also take mine to a town of about 500 people.

I buy free range non-organic eggs at the local food coop for $2.75 a dozen. That is a bargain compared to the grocery store eggs which are no where near as fresh!

I sell mine for $2/doz. The solution is that YOU should be the one in charge of selling eggs!

I sell mine for $5/dz eggs and $3/dz for the bantam eggs. I sell all that the girls lay.

My customers know that my eggs are far superior to the store bought ones even in the winter. I call them designer eggs lol!

we sell our eggs for $2.50 a dz and that is still really cheap because you have to consider the cracked corn, laying mash, and if you feed your hens oyster shell which is about 15 to 20 dollars a bag depending where you are so you are right he did not get a deal. The so called free range organic brown eggs in the supermarket sell for $3.89 here and believe me they do not taste anywhere as good as ours

If I could get free range eggs for a buck a dozen I would get rid of my hens and start raising broilers. I would also start reselling some of the 1 dollar a dozen eggs for a nice profit.

At the farmer's market here they range from $3.50-4.50, and they sell out of hundreds of eggs One woman has 500 hens, she sells out every Saturday at $4.50/doz. Thats about 250 dozen eggs per week.
