Help me prove my DH WRONG

My DH and I are having an argument. He just sold 6 dozen eggs for 1.00 a dozen and thinks he made a deal. Will you tell him that they cost more than that in the stores> And these are farm fresh. He says he doesnt sell retail and that noone would pay more. I told him he was stuck in the fifties to think that. Mind you the guy he sold too is made of money. I told him that with the cost of feed going up you have to charge more but he thinks I'm nuts. HELP_ especially you guys in FLorida as that is another of his excuses. Micki

Oh yeah you can get more. Large brown eggs in the stores here sell for 3.99 a dozen.

My boss pays $5.00 / dozen for my eggs.
My neighbors do things like chop down trees, plow my garden and give me straw in return for them.
One dollar doesn't even cover the feed..........you win.

I sell eggs for $2 a dozen (and people buy them).

Around here the store eggs are about that per dozen and organic goes up to nearly $3 per dozen.

The rich guy is rich for a reason--he can spot a deal when he sees one. I would "at the very least" sell for what the grocery stores are selling for, and i know I am in Canada, but a dozen-last time i checked--and that was a while ago--close to $3/doz

In the store here about $3 per dozen organic are $5.29 I think. The boss got a steal, I mean a deal.

There are at least 3 people within 10 minutes of me that sell em a dollar a dozen.
