Help me solidify an idea I have for growing fodder?

If you have some issues with mold, I am told that a capful of bleach in the soaking bin with seeds should be enough to kill off any mold. As a preventative, I will also add a capful of bleach to my top watering bin every few days. I never really had any issues with mold in my fodder bins, but the tiny bit of bleach can't hurt and I see no signs of mold. For $1.00 a gallon of bleach at the Dollar Tree, it will last me more than a year with only a capful every few days.
I need to start doing this.

I need to start doing this. [Adding a capful of bleach to soaking seeds]

I have read that live seeds may have some natural mold on them. Given the right temperature and moisture, you might get some mold growth in your fodder bin. I never had much of a problem with mold, but noticed a few spots every once in awhile. I would just pick them out and throw that into the compost bin. Anyway, I started adding a tiny capful of bleach to the water for the fodder tower every few days and have not seen any mold at all since using it as a preventative. Cheap solution and seems to work.
