I cannot figure out how to post a video here. The little chick is just laying flat, but she will move around and chirp like they do. Nothing really unusual about that. I just don’t know if she has anything in our yolk sack and if I need to be feeding her. I’m pretty sure she was born prematurely. I don’t want her to starve to death.

*****UPDATE*****
She is still alive this morning!! I cannot tell how much is still in her yolk sack. I know they are usually good for 48 hours after they hatch however I’m wondering if she wasn’t using some of it while she was partially shrink wrapped. Please view my Last video. I am open for any suggestions. Perhaps I could feed her with an eye dropper? - some raw egg? If anybody has any ideas, TIA.

I have a hen sitting on eggs. I came out one day and two of the eggs were out from underneath them and one had been pecked on. There was a little tiny spot of blood. I took the egg inside. I thought it was dead however it was chirping and you could see movement and heartbeat.
Keep in mind that the shell has been partially removed. I put her in the incubator, hoping perhaps she’ll live.
She’s chirping a lot although she’s still in the egg. What should I do at this point? I wrapped the egg in a wet paper towel. She might be partially shrink wrapped.
Any advice appreciated. TIA.

Hi,

I'm confused how many chicks with issues.

Your chick in the incubator should be fine. Let it rest for a bit before interceding, as it might be able to hatch itself. If it doesn't seem to be coming out, here's how to help:

The other chick under the hen, did you bring that one in too? I'd put that one in the incubator as well. 99.5F, humidity around 60-70%.

The above two pictures are what I took yesterday before I helped the chick hatch.
Only one egg was pecked by another chicken. The other egg I put under the mother hen.
This picture is of her in the incubator. She just lays flat however she does chirp and flail around as they do. She no longer has anything in her yolk sack. I just don’t want her to starve. Besides crumbles, can I give her some raw egg in an eyedropper? Perhaps some rooster booster? She has not been in any position except for laying flat. So I don’t think at this time she can eat crumbles.
Thank you again for your advice.
