Help me, weird egg

Anyway, I feed the weird ones to the dogs. They don't care.

Yeah. And it sounds like they're all still young. Every hen is going to have some 'weird' eggs in her lifetime. I have a bunch of coming 3 year olds, and one stopped laying when she went into her molt this fall. When she started up again, she laid one egg before 6am, laid a 'wind egg' (which is what some folks call those tiny ones there) with a fragment of yolk in it, and then laid another at about 10am! She must have felt REALLY bloaty!

Hi. My girls are 8 months old and one just layed this huge egg. I am wondering if it is because the change in time? We have a light in the coop that is on a timer.
