Help me with layout ideas please :)

We have an 8x10 shed we’ll be converting in to a coop soon. I have a couple layouts in my head but what would your dream layout look like in this space?
I would highly suggest you get some graph paper and lay it out to scale.
1 square equaling 6" or 12".
And some photos of the shed inside and out, from several angles.

My comment is strictly for interior design purposes. And since the word ‘doubt’ implies uncertainty, please make a sign to hang that reads:

BAHAHAHAHAHA

I love our girls...but I don’t really want all that much more work. So I am fairly confident that we’ll never have more than 12. Our TCS requires purchases of 4 chicks minimum, so I can see buying 4 to eventually rotate out 4 older hens that have stopped laying but that’s about it.
That said, chicken math :fl

This is what I have drawn up so far.
Door faces due East, window to the North.
Under the eaves/soffits along the 10 ft sides to the North and South will be ventilation, with extra cut in the peak of the West roof peak.
I’ll get some actual pictures of the shed today.
Feel free to critique.

Pics of the shed. The cedars in the back will be cut, leaving some stump to create a “playground” with.

OhMan!! That's a great shed!!
Nice big roof overhangs(be still me heart)!!
Too bad they blocked the soffits.

Removing that blocking...or drilling a bunch of big holes in them,
will be great year round ventilation

That will be the plan with the soffits :) it should give us plenty of ventilation. Especially if we add a cutout in the peak of the west facing roof.

I suggest roosts or a shelf under the window, for the chickens to be able to look out. I had a chicken house once with nest boxes under the window, with their solid top being a shelf the chickens could walk on--they were forever looking out the window, especially in winter.
