We are new chicken owners. We built our coop about 5 weeks ago from an old shed. We started our flock with 2 sexlinks from the feed store and 2 Easter Eggers and a salmon favorelle rooster.

Then we got a mixture from a local breeder. The first chicken that died was a couple day old Cochin baby. The next chicken died was a polish (6week old) then a Rhode Island Red (1 week old) then a polish (6 week old) then all of a sudden our salmon rooster died (2 months old) then our silky died (4 weeks old), all of this over 5 weeks. Now our 4 week old Cochin looks sick and so does our 4 week old turkin.

All seem to eat and drink and thrive and then all of a sudden they stop eating and sleep all the time. They don't cough or sneeze. Poop is ok sometimes runny no blood.

We put them in the coop at night and in a cage outside during the day. We check on them all the time and they are family to us. We started the whole flock on duramycin-10 yesterday. I have tried taking the sick ones out and bringing inside with heat and water and nothing is helping. Please someone help me.

Sorry. I have no advice to give, but I do wish you luck. With luck the duramycin-10 will help.

Are you keeping all of them together or are you brooding the younger ones with heat in a separate area?
Can you post photos of coop, run, chicks and brooder? What is the temps in the brooder/space, how large of space do they have?
What type of food/treats are you giving them.
Any other symptoms beside not eating and sleeping alot.
Even though you don't see any blood in the poop you may want to treat for Cocci.

This is the coop and run and yes all the chickens are in there together. We put light on the Cochin (who's sick) and 2 blue chicks

I let them come and go during the day. I have a small group that I keep in a cage outside on nice days.

I'm giving the 2 sick ones the corid now. Can I give this and the antibiotic?

The second picture looks like they are in glass aquariums with lids. I suspect not enough ventilation may be your biggest problem. Anyway you can make screen tops to let in more air or change out the aquarium for just wire cages so you can get better airflow?
IMO better ventilation and a course of Corid would be the first things I would try to see if there is any improvement. Dosing with antibiotics may be in order if nothing else seems to work.

They have wire tops but o can switch them out. I have started the 2 sick on Corid and 1 of them seems to be a little better. Thank you for helping. Any advise is appreciated.
