Hello people, as mentioned before in a previous post of mine, my rooster Luke does not have a beak. Will this stop him from mating with hens? He has no way to catch the hens without a beak! Please answer my question!

I usually don't use emoticons butWell, when I got Luke, he was a baby chick, I kept him in my room being new to raising chickens and all. He was about a month old when it happened. Every night he'd cheep cheep cheep until he fell asleep, until one night, he woke me up because he was chirping like crazy, I blew it off, thinking, "oh he just woke up, he'll fall back asleep later". I woke up in the morning to find him bloody, missing his beak with just his little tongue hanging there. I went on a rampage demanding to know what happened. Until I remembered something my sister asked me that same night. She asked me if I could help her find her pet rat that had gotten loose. I put two and two together. The rat chewed off my chickens beak! I even found rat poops beside Luke's cage to back up my theory. So now Luke is a year and 2 months, still no beak. He has adapted to his change but I have to take extra special care of him. I would seriously do anything for that little guyand of course I can post pics! He's gorgeous!
