Trap him and move him 1/2 mile or more. He will not return as homing instincts of chickens not that strong. Make certain no restrictions apply in respect to transplanting feral animals. Or confine and feed him well with quality feed, then eat him. The quality feed will bring him on flavor and make him awesome for soup or dumplings.

try wielding a large rake above your head and go at him screaming at the top of your lungs. Keep running at him into the woods. Hit the ground with a rake and stomp around like a gorilla. and try not to make eye contact with your neighbors as you walk back to your house grinning in victory.
