Help! My americauna has feather mites!

Treat according to size. If the 6 week old don't have any mites give them a little spray to ward them off just on case.
I would spray momma but not babies and keep an eye for mites. A broody can be more susceptible because she is more stationary and less likely to dust bathe with little ones.

Discovering these little vermin on my sweet Floki girl has actually turned into an opportunity for me to spruce up the coop... All weekend I've been working on getting the coop completely cleaned out, painted with white zero VOC paint, a new poop board installed, and even got liner paper with plastic nesting pads in their boxes!

*Still needing to diagnose this issue* Haven't seen the feather mites, but I saw what i think may be eggs...

UPDATE: Cleaned out the coop completely and painted the floor white. Wanted to see if i would see mites on the ground last night. I've attached pictures of what I saw and the condition of my chickens feathers (not the best pic but you can see the chewing/fraying of the tail feathers). I also attached a pic of her very dirt and what seemed inflamed oli glaNd. Gave her a bath last night, massaged and cleaned the oil gland area in warm water (OMG she LOVED this, BTW) and lots of little pieces of feather folicle were floating in the water. Thoughts?
