Do you see them eat? I thought tiny chicks had to have crumble and pellets are too large for them to eat. Can you dampen the feed a bit and see how they do with it?

Perhaps it’s the pellets... babies need chick starter? So sorry!They have water access and food access at all times. They have a heat source ( does not specify the watts) and she is always running around. She is a week old. Their enviroment is cleaned every week, we use pellets and i don't know whas wrong![]()
That was my thought, too.You can put some pellets in a bag and take a hammer to it to break them up into smaller pieces.
Get a temperature of the brooder.
I have a feeling that too small of a brooder plus a heat lamp equals too hot.
