Keep them at 99-100 degrees. Don't worry about humidity for now. But see if you can get an incubator tomorrow. Either buy or borrow one. You can candle to see if there is veining and movement to verify they are alive before investing in one.

Thanks for all the great info! I have learned how to do that as when we have been gathering the eggs to eat just to make sure and I always can see thru them. But these I can't and I can see a curve, hook, U shaped inside. Haven't detected movement yet as I've been letting momma handle them and I just picked her up and held her. I miss them, they were so so sweet. They would run to the door when we would come and cluck, chirp and do their dance excited to get fruit and veggie scraps from us.

Hey. I see veining but I'm not sure about movement. The older eggs are almost all black inside from chick so I don't know if they are moving. Sometimes I swear they are but not 100% the younger eggs have destinctive veining. I maked them with a little circle where the tiny spot is the chick yesterday. Today when I candled them the spot moved. Is that normal for a egg dead or alve? Thanks for all your help.

Thank you. Checked again one egg this morning I marked it's spot last night as I mentioned it has moved and thos morning it has moved again. This one is one of the young eggs that has the veining. I have some that are not veining looking but have a red ring. From what I've read that's not good and are probably dead. But being so new to this I'm hesitant to discount them as I really can only go by what I'm reading and seeing on the internet. Her first egg I found I marked with the date 3/12, second 3/13 & third 3/14 etc. These are the dates I found them, give or tske today is day 19. The other younger eggs I mentioned that are veining and the little dot is moving I didn't mark the dates on. I haven't noticed a bad smell or sweating eggs as I've read are signs of a dead egg.

The ones with the blood ring are dead from what you are describing. But if you're not comfortable with throwing them yet, keep them. Are they in am incubator now? On day 18 stop turning them and get you're humidity way up to get ready for the hatch.
