HELP!!!!!!! MY BUDGIE HAS BEEN ATTACKED BY A RAT!!! :(

Today at 10:30pm I heard my budgies screaming like hell and when I got to the aviary one was on the ground hopping! I saw the rat as it ran away but couldn't catch it! I took the budgie inside and it seems to be resting well! But it has a little bit of blood on it wing! It also holds one wing a bit lower than the other! It can still fly a little but not very well! I can't find anything on google on how to care for a budgie that has been attacked by a rat so please if you have any info that might help reply on this post! Thanks

Take him to the vet! They will tell you what is wrong and they might have to do something to his wing depending on how bad it is hurt or maybe even broken. Rats carry diseases to so medication would be a good idea for your budgie.

I agree to take it to the vet ASAP. If it's not affordable you may lose this bird to infection very quickly (within hours).
I would give antibiotic immediately if I could not take it to the vet right away. Also keep it very warm as shock slows the blood and makes them chill. That would probably be it's only hope without a vet hospital visit. Even the tiniest cut from an animal can kill your budgie very fast, as well as shock from the attack.
