Candles the eggs quickly this afternoon, P1 has me a bit worried but there seems to be an active chick in there. It just seems to ‘slosh’ around too much for my liking.

The Silkie eggs are growing and filling the egg more. I took a video of S1 and S2.

Oh I know Rebecca is the Marans expert - but you identified all my chicks the day I got them and I forgot which was which. Cookie is easy to identify. I am pretty sure Chippy is likely a Speckled Suspect, Bucky probably a Buckeye and that Geronimo is a Golden Cuckoo Marans.
I may have got muddled, but I think that is the line-up.
I guess I will learn soon enough as they grow up!

With Geronimo you can take all my Marans knowledge and throw it out the door. I've been told by many people that Cuckoo's are different in temperament. From what I've been able to gather the cuckoo's are spicier in nature. The BBS-black,blue,splash Marans are the ones more calm and Gentle. I will say Geronimo will be pretty as a adult. If female, I do not know if you got sexed chicks, will lay a brown egg. Expect a couple shades lighter then your BBS marans, but still a pretty brown egg.

If i were you I'd pull the devil. Then think of an implant or denture further down the line. You shouldn't put an implant right away according to my friends dentist. It should have a healing process first. I wouldn't wish what I have had to anyone. Abscesses make us very ill and the pain is unbearable

The dentist said to put the implant base in at the time of tooth pulling... then heal... then add the crown after healing approx 3 months. Anyway I look at it... it's a pain... but I need something permanent cuz my arm probably won't work so good to reach my rear mouth to remove a temporary bridge for daily cleaning. I can barely brush teeth & have to use an electric toothbrush now. H*ll getting old.

Tx ~ DH made a soft fluffy Chile Relleno Casserole for me today from our Anaheim chili plant & Silkie eggs! Yum! TY girls (& DH) ~ not pretty... but DELICIOUS

That looks delicious.

Our son had to have an implant. He lost a tooth in grade school. By the time they told us he needed an implant the bone had receded. They had to do a bone graft before they could place the implant. You definitely want to get it done right away and not wait.

Sorry you're also having so much pain.
