I have had my chicks for only a week and one of them has pasty butt.I have been cleaning her but I think she is dehydrated, I put molasses in there water but I think its to late for her ,can i give her water with a eye dropper? She isnt chirping or moving much and her eyes are closed and she appears to be panting

Sugar water or some electrolyte water (pedialyte/Gatorade) force fed. When he's more conscious, feed scrambled eggs or some sort of high protein food.

It Has worked on 2 of my chicks.

How should i give her? I dont how much water a baby chick drinks..I dont want to give her to much.

I am holding her in a towel and gave her a couple of drops of sugar water but she is breathing very fast, she appears to be panting but her heart rate seems to be very slow

Just wanted to give an update...she seems to be recovering.I seperated her from the rest of the chicks, I brought her in the house in a small box with her own set up( shavings dugar water and lamp.I gave her tinys drops of sugar water every hour or so throught the night, cleaned her butt in warm water with the faucet, put bag balm on her and trimmed her fur around her butt.gave her a hug and hoped for the best while I went to work.Ehen I walked in the house she was chirpping like crazy..I noticed dhe had droppings in her box...cleaned heragain and put more bag balm after a good soak under the faucet again..made her feed with warm water and she ate like a piggy!..I did try and put her bavk with tje resy of the chicks but they ate so much bigger than her that tjey dtarted to knock her over as they were running around. I took her back in the house, just wondering if I can keep her seperated till she gets stronger and will thet accept her back..any thoughts would be great.
