I don't think anything bad should happen to her. I heard lizards are nutrient rich foods for chickens. My chickens have ate something similar to a lizard (they probably ate a newt or a salamander) and they have never been harmed.

She’s gonna need some extra grit for that mouthfulHello everyone
My chicken ate a lizard this morning she's behaving normal. I'm just worried if it'll do any harm to her..??
In Minnesota it’s salamanders I saw one in one of my chickens beaks and the rest in hot pursuit I don’t know if anyone knows Benny Hill an old British comedy show where he’s running and everybody is chasing him and that theme song runs through my head every time I see the chickens running

I look away but still gag because I can hear the "thwack thwack" from them hitting it on the ground to kill it.Chickens are just small T-Rexs. I find it is best to just look the other way when they find a small creature to feed on. But yea, your chicken will be just fine.
Chickens aren’t little Tyrannosaurids. They are an evolved Compsognathus. I hope autocorrect spelled that right. Except they fight and hunt much more like Dromaeosauridae. Velociraptor, Oviraptor, Dromaeosaurus, and Utahraptor were all in that familyI look away but still gag because I can hear the "thwack thwack" from them hitting it on the ground to kill it.![]()
