UPDATE: I cleaned the wound with a rag and water and tried to flush it out as best as I could but it still wasn’t perfectly clean. I used antibiotic ointment as well, she is in real pain as she was crying out in pain as I washed it
I wrapped it up real good with gauze and wrap and I separated her from the flock along with one of her best hen friends she gets along best with so she’s not alone. Here’s what she looks like now, all bandaged up:
I hope I did the right thing, I really tried my best but I’m worried that I didn’t get the wound clean enough
I hope she’ll be okay
