Help! My chicken is making Gurgling noises and the crop is squishy

My 5 year old Chicken (Will be 6 in September) Is making really loud gurgling noises. She also has a squishy Crop but her head doesn't smell sour. I already checked down her throat but couldn't see any worms, but what I did see was her tounge, it looks really weird, kinda like it is dried up or maybe has a fungus. She also got attacked by our dogs a week or so ago but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Got any ideas of what it could be?

Could be dried food on the tongue.

I'd make sure she's drinking well and offer her wet feed.
Treat the crop as sour according to the article below.
