My chicken is having trouble with walking and often just falls over. She raises her tail in the air and is not eating much, as she is lighter than usual, we checked her to see if she was egg-bound but couldn’t find anything. I’m so worried about my little favorelle! Can anyone help?

She isn’t able to stand and we’ve been forced to feed and make her drink. I’m afraid that she isn’t eating much and sounds like she might be in pain. Marek’s disease? Paralysis? She’s been like this for a while.

I am so sorry she isn't doing well.
How old is she?
How long have you had her and have you brought any new to you birds home in the last few months?
How long has she been 'off'?

She is a little over a year old. We introduced her to our flock and she got in just fine, but once she became like this we separated her to make sure the other chickens wouldn’t pick on her and cause anymore damage. She’s been like this for a few days and has been exposed to wild birds, but never got anything from them.

How long have you had her and where did she come from?

What is she able to move? Is either leg paralyzed, and is she able to use both wings? Is she moving her neck okay? I am afraid that she may not last long if she isn’t eating or drinking enough. Does she seem to be able to swallow okay. I would mix a wet mash of chicken feed and warm water, and add a little scrambled chopped egg. Can you start some vitamins that contain riboflavin—human vitamin B complex 1/4 tablet crushed daily into feed is good.
Do you have a compost bed or area where she could have eaten something to make her sick?

We got her from Hoover Hatchery near our home. If I had to say how long we’ve had her it’d be 10 months or a little over that.
Thanks, I was wanting to know if she was new to you...recently new.
So no new birds in the last few months correct?

Has she already started laying eggs, if so when was the last time she laid one.

Also where are you located, about where?
Do you have heat on her in these pictures?

Nope, no new birds in the past few months. We’ve never seen her lay any eggs before and aren’t sure if she ever has.
