hi everyone,

i got my first six girls last october, and introduced 9 new girls two weeks ago.

first day with the new girls we had 9 eggs,"great" and then it has slowly gone down day by day,and im now at the point of no eggs(well amybe the odd one)i am feeding them on corn, and need advice on wether to change them to pellets.

any advive would be great

thanks paul

You should use layer pellets and get them exercising. If they are like 8 years old then maybe just keep as pets because they will not lay

Corn is not a complete feed- fine for a treat only. You should get them layer pellets. You will see a huge difference in production. Enjoy your girls!

LAYER pellets are the way to go!

thanks for the replies, the girls are all 18 months but i must admit, they are on corn only,so i will get pellets tomorrow, also we have an allotmen so have a never ending supply of veg, should we moderate the amount we give them or should we just keep giving them as much as they will eat

thank you all

paul
