Help! My chickens/livestock are all healthy!!!!!

Yep!! My flock is all healthy and happy. The roos would be happier if I would just turn them loose on all the hens

but that will never happen I keep all mine pure bred.

Happy and healthy hens make the best eggs and best friends!!!

You don't really believe in that, do you?

Although....every time I wash the truck, it rains!

I had a chicken die today but I don't think this thread jinxed me....she drowned in our sheep's water trough!

I call it natural selection....that one's genetic propensity for stupidity was just eliminated from my flock!

I operate on that same natural selection theroy - and if Natural selection does not kick in fast enough there is always the stew pot. Which in itself is a form of natural selection. Naturally I am going to select the chicken/rooster I don't want in the gene pool.

Just moved my flock to a much, much larger pen - it's practically free range but with the electric fence there's less predator action to worry about. They were hilarious the first few days - you could just tell they were so happy. We spent hours watching them and laughing. Best thing I've done in awhile was getting these babies!

I love watching mine free range...especially on a beautiful sunny day. They dust, they stretch, they spread that one wing while they lay on their sides....then they all line up in a row! Looks like I killed them and arranged them artfully in the yard!

I love watching them searching and foraging....they seem so involved in their pursuit of happiness.

My 8 eight week olds are doing great. I had one little setback with my black cochin needing to take vitamins everyday because she wasn't walking well (and I don't really think she'll ever be 100%) but she seemed to pull thru it.

So far, so good (knocks on wood). I love them all. I'd hate to lose any of them.
