!!!!HELP!!!! MY CHICKIE IS LIMPING!

HELP! One of my red leghorn died. Before it died it grug it's tail feathers on the ground walking in a stouped down position, now I have a second one
walking that way. Can you help?

Sorry but I can't figure out how to start my own question and I really need some advice. I have 2 northern black ducks about 6 months old and I went out to the coop a couple of hours ago and one of them was limping, really not walking at all. Picked him up and at his "elbow" it is very warm to touch, no swelling, no broken skin nothing. What can I do for my poor Shades??!

Sounds like Shades needs some niacin. Niacin deficiencies often cause leg issues in ducks. I don't have the exact formula off hand, but I'm sure you can find how much to put in a gallon waterer. I just used the people pills and crush them. Put it in a small bit of warm water to dissolve and then mix it in to the big waterer. Also some electrolytes won't hurt. If you don't have any on hand, a healthy splash of Gatorade will do. Good luck!
